About Still Step
Built by someone who understands, for everyone who needs help
A Personal Journey
Still Step wasn't created in a corporate boardroom or designed by people who've never experienced anxiety. It was built by Paul, someone who knows firsthand what it's like to struggle with agoraphobia and panic attacks.
Living with agoraphobia meant that simple activities—going to the store, taking a walk, or even leaving the house—felt impossible. The fear of having a panic attack in public became overwhelming. Professional therapy helped, but Paul needed something more: practical, immediate tools he could use anywhere, anytime.
That's when Still Step was born. By combining therapy with a comprehensive set of evidence-based anxiety management tools, Paul was able to make great strides in managing his agoraphobia. What started as a personal project became a mission: to help others who face the same struggles.
The Problem We're Solving
Anxiety and panic disorders affect millions of people worldwide, yet many struggle to find:
- Immediate relief - Most solutions require appointments or waiting periods
- Practical tools - Generic advice doesn't help during a panic attack
- Affordable care - Therapy and medication can be expensive
- Progress tracking - Hard to see improvement without data
- Community support - Feeling isolated makes everything harder
Traditional mental health care is essential, but there's often a gap between therapy sessions. Still Step fills that gap with tools you can use right now, whenever anxiety strikes.
Our Solution
Still Step provides a comprehensive anxiety management system that includes:
🫁 Immediate Relief Tools
Breathing exercises, grounding techniques, and relaxation methods you can use the moment panic strikes.
📍 Exposure Therapy Support
Location tracking to monitor your journeys and measure progress as you gradually expand your safe zones.
📊 Progress Tracking
Track panic episodes, mood patterns, and anxiety levels to see your improvement over time.
💬 Community Connection
Connect with others who understand. Share experiences, strategies, and encouragement in a safe space.
Every feature was designed based on real experience—tools that actually help when you need them most.
Our Mission
To make anxiety management accessible, affordable, and effective for everyone.
We believe that mental health tools should be:
- Accessible - Core tools are always free
- Evidence-based - Grounded in proven psychological techniques
- User-friendly - Simple enough to use during a panic attack
- Privacy-focused - Your mental health data is deeply personal
- Community-driven - Built with feedback from real users

No waiting for appointments. No complex processes. Just open the app and use the tools you need, right now.
Data-Driven Progress
Track your improvement over time. Seeing progress reinforces positive change and motivates continued growth.
Our Commitment to You
Having lived with anxiety, Paul understands how vulnerable it feels to trust an app with your mental health. That's why Still Step comes with these promises:
- Core anxiety tools will always be free
- Your privacy is our top priority
- The app will always be updated and maintained
- We'll be transparent about pricing and features
- No advertisements will interrupt your experience
- We'll listen to your feedback and improve
This isn't just an app—it's a commitment to everyone struggling with anxiety. Because we've been there, and we know you need tools you can trust.
The Team
Paul - Founder & Developer
Paul built Still Step from personal necessity. After years of struggling with agoraphobia and panic disorder, he combined his technical skills with therapeutic insights to create tools that actually help.
Through professional therapy and the development of Still Step, Paul has made significant progress in managing his agoraphobia. Today, he continues to refine the app based on his ongoing journey and feedback from the community.
"I built this app because I needed it. Now I'm sharing it because others need it too. If it helps even one person take a step they couldn't take before, it's worth it."
